Do you know a girl with an entrepreneurial spirt? Join us for this one-day conference on innovation and social enterprise!
Latinitas invites all girls and non binary students between 9-14 years old to attend the Start Up Chica Conference on Saturday, February 26th from 10:00AM-5PM
Open to all girl-identifying and trans/nonbinary students, ages 9-14. Girls will spend the day learning the business skills needed to launch their own startup or product that identifies and solves community issues. As a team, working alongside community mentors, they will come up with a creative solution to a problem, pitch the product to a group of judges and exit with a passion for entrepreneurship.
Participants will have to opportunity to hear from real professionals in various media and technology fields, as well as up-close interaction with professionals who will be guiding the girls through the fun and exciting process of developing a business idea.
Everyone will have a chance to contribute as well as learn from others at this fun and collaborative day of technology, media, and innovation. This program is wonderful for teaching your girls the skills they need for the future!

Las Chicas pasarán el día aprendiendo las habilidades de negocios necesarios para el lanzamiento de sus propios negocios o producto que identifique y resuelva problemas en la comunidad. En equipo, trabajando a lado de mentores de la comunidad, van a crear una solución creativa para un problema, persuadir un grupo de jueces para que elijan su producto y salir con una pasión para ser emprendedoras de sus propios negocios.Participantes van a tener la oportunidad de escuchar a profesionales en diversos medios y campos tecnológicos, así como una interacción cercana con profesionales que van a guiar a las chicas por el divertido y emocionante proceso de desarrollar una idea de negocio.Todos van a tener una oportunidad de contribuir así como aprender de otros en este divertido y colaborativo día de tecnología, medios e innovación.
