Media, Visual, Performing Arts Academy (MVP)

Sadler Means Media, Visual, and Performing Arts Academy in Austin ISD provides an inspiring and arts-rich program where students are able to experience a diverse range of advanced fine arts, expansive media experiences, and robust visual arts opportunities immersed in a rigorous and creative academic program.

As a single-gendered, school of choice, Sadler Means students are leaders in their community who promote scholarship, sisterhood, and community involvement. The Sadler Means M.V.P Academy comprises award winning programs and faculty in media, visual/digital arts, music, choir, and theater arts. Recognized as a Creative Learning Initiative campus, our students are exposed to various curriculum experiences that focus on providing students with creative learning opportunities that inspire our students’ intellect and peaks their curiosity, creativity, and imaginations. With a wealth of experience, our Sadler Means staff is excited to work with students from all across the Austin area intent on pursuing an education focused on the areas of media, visual, and performing arts.

At Sadler Means, all students have access to all academy programs. However, only students accepted into the M.V.P Academy are assured a seat in a class of their track and are given priority scheduling to ensure student’s M.V.P Academy requirements are met. Current Sadler Means 6th, 7th, 8th grader may be invited to join the M.V.P Academy based on their commitment and performance as observed by the track teacher.
